Being in all the chaos of the city kind of makes me miss this already. I also miss you too, but that’s another story. (And yea, the “you” is intentionally vague.)
Spent the day wandering the around the sites, lying under the cherry blossoms, and drinking a cappuccino at a cool poetry bookstore among other things. Pretty lazy day, but I walked everywhere and it caught up to me. I think I’m going to go back to my place and crash.

Government Shutdown
In case you haven’t heard, because Congress can’t get their crap together and make a freakin’ budget, I (and 800,000 other federal employees) may not be able to go to my internship, because the government will shut down. I heard about it today from my internship adviser saying we might be locked out. Awesome. Thanks Congress. (Also, in my opinion, thanks Tea Party Republicans who try to cram other agendas down the budget bill…). Guess we shall see what happens.
